Fufu is a lucky hamster

Oh I'm such a lucky hamster.. I bring good luck to people.
The other day when it was time for me to go back to the kitchen to sleep (my cage is normally placed in the kitchen but evening time, the family will bring my cage to the living room for me and Bibi to watch tv) when Eil found out that I had throw my poo poo out of the cage and unto the floor.

She asked papa to clear it as she and mama always refer to me as papa's "son".
So papa took a tissue and clear away my poo poo.

Then next few days, I heard that papa touched 4D. haa.. but only $20. Why so little money.
Coz according to Eil, since hamsters can only produce small poo the fortune of course also small lor.
Haa.. But dont I bring luck to the family? $20 also money mah.. heeee :)

It's Raining.

Haa.. after weeks of hot and dry weather it finally rained yesterday afternoon. It lasted till this morning. I heard Eil come back with her pants and slippers wet yesterday. hee hee.
Well blame her, I think the cause of it was because she listen too much of the It's raining song by Rain. The chorus is "Rain, go rain. It's raining, it's raining." hee

Well I only asked for cold weather, I never asked for rain. hee.
Anyway my friend Jay made me cross paws that it will not rain on his Birthday next month.



Dear sky, please do not rain on my friend Jay's birthday. Just let that day be cooling and let it be a wonderful party.. :)

I'm Bored

I'm so bored today. Dont know what to do other then eat and sleep...
Anyone has any fun ideas what to do?

I love tissue

Mama always give me tissues after she cleaned my house.
I love tissues, I would put some in my little house and some in my tree trunk.
It's really soft to sleep in and it makes a cold day (which is coming soon I hope) really cozy.

What is your goal in life?

After my friend Jay recommended me to have ice cream for this hot weather, I hinted to Eil and YEAH! I finally got some Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia yesterday. Yum yum...

Anyway I was so busy yesterday... I would wait in my house and peek outside. Whenever someone call my name or walk near I'll come out and hope they give me food.

Let me see what treats I managed to get last nite...

• Brown Rice (I heard it's more healthy then plain white rice)
• Ice Cream
• Seeds
• Dragon Fruit
• Banana
• Bread

(when people walk pass, I'll try to beg treats out of them)

But some of the food I would not eat it immediately (like bread and seeds). I'll stash them away in a corner and maybe snack on them later. Then mama start giving me a lecture. She asked me what is my goal in life. Is it to take as many food as possible. She complain that I'm greedy and I always take more then 1 serving of food. Then I always keep my food in a corner which later attracts pests.

But but... it's in my hamster nature to stash food away. Anyway, they were more then willing to give me treats in the first place. hee hee..

Back to the question, what is my goal in life. hum... that's a really complex question but for now I think I wanna be the best pet hamster there is. Hee..

So... What is YOUR goal in life?

Hot Hotter Hottest!

Gosh, it's really hot hot and hot these few days.
There's really actually 3 seasons in Singapore and that's Hot, Hotter and Hottest. I think we are at the Hottest stage now.
Even at night, there's no breeze. Eil saw me lingering outside my house yesterday was it as too hot to sleep inside.



So she use a small portable fan to bring me some relieve. Wah..... so nice, got breeze........



Wow.. So much better now...... :)

Small eyes are in !

Last week, someone commented that Bibi looks very cute because he has big shiny eyes.
While I have small beady eyes so Bibi looks cuter *rolls-eye* then me.





Well hello... with the popularity of Korean popular culture now. Everything korean, from the movies, songs, food to drama series 韩流 Hallyu the korean wave is very much alive now.

Look at who are the popular korean actors now. They are people like Rain and Lee Jun Ki who both have small eyes ok. And many people think that they are cute.

So being a 哈韩 hamster, I think I'm 'in' with the popularity of the small eyes look going on now. Hey, I know my stuff ok... The tv is always showing korean drama series these days.

Anyway for all you know. Bibi might be wearing those Big eye contact lens to make his eyes look bigger. heee

So HOT these days

Oh.. It's so HOT these days. I wonder why, is global warming happening?
I have to sleep with my head outside of my house coz it's stuffy.















Even Bibi has to lie on his back to air his tummy coz it's too warm.















Hope we get cooler weather soon...

Who moved my ball?!

Ok...
Who's the joker who moved my ping pong ball to the top hole of my tree trunk.
It's not funny ok, I hit my nose when I tried to put my face up of the hole when I waked up this morning. I demand the joker who did it to put extra treats in my food dish tonight.

Fufu does Yoga!

Ok, remember in my previous post I said that I can do yoga.
Let me show you the steps:

First lets do warm up first.
Stretch left....



Stretch right...



Then you bend and turn around and hold this pose for 10 sec



Then you try to put your foot up and try to touch your ear.



Then you warm down and rest



See I'm a very healthy and fit hamster. :)

Fufu been tagged!

Oh boy... I just found out that I've been tagged. Not once but twice. heee.. :)
First by Huskee boy then by MoonShadow. That must mean that I'm popular. But can I be tagged more then once?? Hum.. never mind

The rule is that:

Problem is I don't know much furries with blogs (coz not all hamsters are clever like me to have a blog) and those that I know of are already tagged.
So I shall just contribute the 5 weird things/habits about myself first then tag others when I have more friends. Any kind soul out there willing to be tag by me? hee.. :)

1. I have to turn 2-3 rounds on the spot in a corner before curling up my tail and pee. (dont ask why, it's my instinct)



2. I can do yoga (to be describe in details in future post)

3. I have a bald patch on my back which result in me getting nickname like botak fu.

4. Although I have stairs in my house, I like to 'climb' to upper floors using the metal bars of the cage.

5. I like to pick up my food dish in my mouth and carry it like a doggie to the ground floor. If anyone put the dish back upstairs, I'll repeat and bite it down again.

Lizard come find Fufu

Last weekend, Eil and mama were having breakfast at the kitchen when they saw me suddenly running up and down then scratching myself like crazy.



They were wondering what happen to me, they thought I might have been bitten by ants. Then they put me in the sandbox to bath and clean my cage. And I got a scolding from mama for storing so much food in my corner that attracts pests.

Later that night, mama found a baby lizard in my cage. She faster catch the lizard and the family thinks that the lizard must have been the one freaking me out earlier that day.

So now they put my cage higher on a stool so that it's not so easy for pest to come in.

Mr Lizard, please tell your friends not to come visit me liaoz. I dont like you and I'm scare of you...

More Walnuts = Clever Fufu

Haa... Remember I told you guys that eating walnuts will make you clever?

The Blair Hamster Project

The other day Eil was taking my pictures.
I was tired of doing those usual boring pose, so I thought I try something different this time.
Something creative, something innovation. Something no hamster had taken before.

Fufu support Animal Lovers League!

Yesterday Eil went to the National Dog Walk with J.
My doggie friend Jay also went. The event was to raise funds for a local animal shelter.
Eil said there were alot of doggies in different shapes and sizes there.
I wish I could go too. But Eil scared that I would get lost in dog poos and the dogs might eat me up.
Anyway there was a big National Day Cake at the end of the event that was specially baked for doggies. Eil got some back for me.
I love it so much..





Yummy.. so much cream.

Bibi = Rain rain?! (Guest blog by Bibi)

Those of you who know your taiwan drama series know that Channel U is showing Mr fighting now at 7pm. Well there's Renfu in there and the family thought that it'll be fun to change my name to Xie Zhi to match the 2 main characters in the show since the other hamster in the family is call fufu after Ren fu.

Not that I dont like xie zhi but he is so... not my style.
If I wanna be named after a celebrity... I think I wanna be named after.... Rain. Hee
Coz he's really cool like me. And do you know that in korean he is call Bi.
So I'm call Bibi which should mean Rain rain right. Heee..

Fufu like rice!

I like to eat rice, plain or fried. The family will always give me and Bibi a few grains when they do cook rice.



By now, you must be thinking that I eat everything that the family gives me.
Well actually no. I do not like to eat certain food. I do not like potato chips. Eil tried giving me some when she was munching but I just turn my face away.

Hey, I know my msg ok.. and I dont like spicy food and I dont like corns that are left in the fridge for too many days. I like them when they are fresh ok. hee

The other day, the mum of the family thought that it'll be nice to let me drink herbal tea (liang char) as the weather is so hot these days. So she poured some in a spoon and put it in front of me. I had a try and ran to hide as fast as I can. hee. :)

Walnuts make you clever

Yesterday the family was talking about why people find Bibi cuter then me.
One of the reason they thought could be that I look silly (sha sha) one. That's why nobody likes me.
But I know my papa likes me alot. He does not allow people to call me rude names and he always give me treats... like mochi, rice ...

Then mama came up with the idea to give me eat walnuts. She read somewhere that walnuts can make you smarter.. Hee.. So she gave me 1 WHOLE walnut (it was coated with a little chocolate) yummy... So I'm no more moody now that I got treats.

And she didn't give Bibi any, coz he's too fat. I think he needs to go on a diet coz I heard people feedback that he'l lazy. hee

So people, go buy walnuts and eat ok. I feel wiser already.. :)
