Eil just finished reading this book : "The Dogs Who Found Me" by Ken Foster
(image taken from Amazon.com)
It's about how Ken became aware of the stray dogs around him and starts to rescue them and the difficulties and hardships faced by dog rescuers. For people who are thinking of getting a pet, it's a good read to prepare yourself on the responsibilities of having a pet. I wish people would really think carefully before they get a pet and care for it and never abandon them with some lame excuse.

We agree Fufu, people don't realise all animals need your time and attention. I need two times the amount because I'm spoilt. special, I mean.
Simba xx
yeah, that simba is spoilt! let's give him a kick in the a*s!
ok, that book looks interesting. will get my mom to check it out.
wet wet licks
Boo

You're right Fufu. Caring for us animals is a full-time job. They need to think about this before taking on a new challenge.
Love ya lots,
Maggie
Hey Fufu!! I have that book too!! Great minds think alike! heehee *winks*
Fufu
You are so in touch with social issues....A civil rights leader..
We really need to have big celebration for your birthday.....
People don't think sometimes. They don't understand that pets are a lifetime committment..
Fufu, we are a big responsibility, as much as I want homes for all the poor strays out there, some people just aren't ready for us. I feel lucky I found my lady.
Murph the Dog
Murph said it so well! Such intelligence in a young pup!
Tail wags
Storm
Is that the same guy that wrote the baseball book?
Actually, you-mans should have to sign something and be legally obligated to keep us and rear us. And we should all be chipped so nobody could abandon us without being found out and prosecuted.
Bussie Kissies
Buster
Mom says we are a lot of trouble and work but we are worth it. She is also glad two of us came from rescue because we deserve better than we got from our first homes. People who abandon their pets should have to live on the streets too!
Roxie, Sammy & Andy
Fufu,
Wow, we have so much in common because my mom is reading that book right now!! She loves it too! It's heartbreaking how people don't take care of their dogs, and how they don't consider their dogs as having feelings.
T-man
Fufu should be our next president! He will represent us animals and pets and give us a voice in the human world.
Mama says the she will drop by MPH opposite her work place to check out the book.
Love
Boy n Baby
what a coincidence, my M just finished reading the same book last month!
That book should be a mandatory read for anyone taking on the responsibility of being a guardian.

Haa Simba, you are special to us too.
Boo, aw.. I'm sure you like to spoil Simba too.
Oscar, it's a interesting read.
Maggie, thanks for thinking the same as me.
Huskee's maid, you got that book too. You read finish already?
Hey Airechicks, I'm so glad to know that you gals agree with me.
Murphey, you are so right. Some people are really not prepared to have pets.
Storm, I'm glad we all found our owners now. And we take good care of each other.
Buster, not too sure about the baseball book. But it'll be great it society pays more attention to animals' needs.
Roxie, Sammy & Andy, nobody should abandon or abuse their pets. They should so be punished.
T-man really, your mum is reading that too. Yeah it's sad how people can just throw away their pets and think that they can fend for themselves
Hana, I'll be the tiniest president. Everyone should be kind to animals big or small.
Boy n Baby, let me know what you think of that book.
Herbie, your M read that book too. Really coincidence :)
Scrappy, everyone should have more love towards animals.
