I *heart* pink

My hoomans realised that I like pink color.
When I had pink color bedding, I would pick them up to my little house with me.

But when they switch my bedding to white. I just ignore them. I dont even pick them up.

Then when they switch my bedding back to pink again recently. I quickly pick those bedding back into my house. :)

I also like to chew on Eil's pink pants and of course Pinky Winky.

Be a responsible owner

The other day Eil asked mama if we should have a dog as we all love our doggie friends.
Mama said no as we have no time and the resources to have a dog. Then she reminded us of the message that SPCA always highlight.

"Having a pet is a lifelong commitment, and unless you are certain and ready to care for one, you should not rush into the decision of getting a pet."

Which really make sense.. so sometimes being a responsible animal lover means not keeping a pet when you know you cannot care for it well.

So I guess for the time being the only dogs we'll have around here would be Pinky Winky & Bluey Wooey.

Below is a link to our SPCA Adopt A Dog Campaign. They have some really cute pictures there. Take a look

Goodbye Jay

It's with a very heavy heart that I bring you this news that one of our oldest friend Jay has crossed over to the rainbow bridge yesterday. He would have been 18 years old this September.
He went peacefully in his owner J's arms.

For those of you who dont know about Jay's story. 23rd Sept 2005 was the day of Jay's re-birth, as he was supposed to put down then. Jay was suffering from renal failure then, and was very very weak. But J made him a promise that if Jay wanted to live, she and her family will support him no matter what. And Jay had been strong and lived on well with the extra time under the care and support J and family have given him.

(Picture of Jay sleeping in Eil's lap taken 1.5 yr ago)

Eil have known Jay for 12 years, Jay was the one who inspired us to start this hammie blog. We're glad to know that Jay went on peacefully and had a very pawsome and full life

This is a picture of Jay and J holding paws.
We hope Jay'll find our friends who had already crossed over the bridge and he'll have fun with them there with endless food and treats and no suffering.

We'll always remember you Jay.. Hope we'll meet again someday~
